Here is what you need to know before the Sheridan Blackhawks travel to Tri-Central to face the Trojans tonight!!

The Blackhawks bounced back in Week 2, defeating North Miami 35-12. The Hawks started strong, Eli Kolb scoring on a 55-yard run in the first 19 seconds. In the last 2 minutes of the first quarter, Kolb ran it in 4 yards to score. Late in the third quarter, Caleb Alexander threw a 12-yard touchdown to Nolan Page. The final touchdown was run in 6 yards by Eli Kolb, towards the end of the fourth. All of Owen Bell’s extra points were good. Eli Kolb led the Blackhawks in rushing yards with 238, and was selected as the Legacy Images Player of the Game!

In this Week 3 conference matchup, both teams look to earn their second win of the season. The Trojans defeated Wes-Del last week 26-6. They’re led by Isaiah Fowler in receiving yards, averaging 52 yards a game. Jacob Cline leads the Trojan in rushing yards with 79 a game. Defensively, the Blackhawks need to defend the Trojans' heavy run game. Offensively, they will need to find some open lanes to continue their run-dominated offense.
